Varmints – the freshest mints
Varmints headed up to Scotland as part of its regional UK tour. Up first was Eden Court Inverness where it was performed twice. The first performance for school kids was met with ‘whoops’, gasps, and joining in. Especially when New Wave Associate and choreographer Wilkie Branson got everyone doing the b-boy moves at the end.
After Inverness, Varmints went to Glasgow. Varmints was performed as part of Dance International Glasgow at the Beacon Arts Centre, where it was listed by Glasgow’s STV as one the events highlights.

Where in the world is Sadler’s Wells?
What a week! Sadler’s Wells’ touring productions are having a very exciting week – with two premieres and a total of four productions on the road.
On Tuesday 31 March, Sylvie Guillem’s Life in Progress received its world premiere at the stunning Luciano Pavarotti Teatro Comunale in Modena, Italy. The sell out show received a rapturous response from the audience and prompted a unanimous standing ovation.

Varmints rehearsals under way
Varmints, choreographed by New Wave Associate Wilkie Branson and directed by Sally Cookson is preparing to head back out on it’s second ever tour starting at the Lilian Baylis Studio on Good Friday. Rehearsals are in full swing with two new cast members – Simone Sistarelli and Natasha Gooden – who perform alongside Wilkie and Mariana Camiloti.

Varmints returns
Sadler’s Wells co-production with East London Dance and Stratford Circus Arts Centre delighted young audiences when it first toured in 2013. It is now preparing to make a triumphant return to the UK tour scene in 2015.
